Grounding Anodes ММ

Ferrosilid Grounding Anodes ММ are low-solubility elements of surface applied grounding anodes for cathodic protection of the pipelines and other metallic underground structures with any soil climatic conditions.

The anodes are mounted in the soil either horizontally or vertically. The number of the devices, their arrangement and the distance between the anodes are specified in the documents.

Design and Delivery Terms for Grounding Anodes ММ

• Grounding Anode ММ consists of corrosion resistant ferruginous electrode with an attached connecting 2 m long cable in a typical package. A round rod of the electrode is thick in the head part, its cavity is shaped in regard to the contact unit where the electrode and cable are connected. The contact unit is insulated with a polymer compound. A heat shrink sleeve is put on the outer surface of the unit.
• Electrode connecting cable is attached to the mains cable of the anodic line. A connecting diagram presupposes the grounding anodes to be connected to the power cable from cathodic protection system with the mains cable through a test station.
• Anodic and mains cable are connected either with cable clamps or with thermite welding. The clients can choose the delivery packages with regard to cable connection types: either with cable clamps or with welding. Near anode area is filled with carbonaceous backfill KWA to prolong the service life of the grounding anodes since the anode dissolution rate decreases.

These anodes are delivered in packages as a set of 20 pcs (or the delivery can be customized).
