Grounding Anodes (underground) is used for cathodic protection of main gas, oil pipelines, ground and underground reservoirs of oil products, gas, and water, underground cables, pile structures, wells, casing columns, system grounding of electric transmission lines and other metallic structures contacting soil and water.
Ferrosilid Alloy Grounding Anodes work in any soil, they are resistant to anode dissolution in an aggressive alkali or acidic soils, in salty and fresh water.
Ferrosilid Grounding Anodes ELZhK, АZZhK are used as a low soluble elements in cathodic protection systems against corrosion in pipelines and other metallic structures buried underground.
They work together with the cathodic protection converters in any soils. They are located below the soil freezing depth mark with the ambient temperature from 0 to +60ºС.
ELZhK Grounding Anode are manufactured on the basis of round and x-shaped section ferrosilid electrodes casted from iron silicon alloy with alloyed chrome, molybdenum, titanium and other elements.
Nominal current load is 1.5 — 2.0 А. Electrode dissolution rate with nominal load is max 0.3 kg* А/year. Connecting VVP cable or similar type cable has 6 mm section copper cores and more. Contacting area of the cable with the electrode is lowered into a casting body and insulated with a compound and with a heat shrink sleeve outside (or a cap, or a tube).
